amp;nbsp;REPRESENTATIVES FASCES

Some examples –
The reverse of the United States "Mercury" dime (minted from 1916 to 1945) bears the design of a fasces

and an olive branch.

Two fasces appear on either side of the
flag of the United States
in the
United States House of Representatives , representing the power of the House and the
country .

The Mace of the United States House of Representatives
, Designed to resemblance fasces, Consists of thirteen ebony rods bound together in the Same fashion as the fasces, topped by a silver eagle on a globe. 

The official seal of the United States Senate has as one component a pair of crossed fasces. 

Fasces ring the base of the Statue of Freedom atop the United States Capitol building. 

A frieze on the facade of the United States Supreme Court building Depicts the figure of a Roman centurion holding a fasces, to represent 'orrder "

It is, in the end, at least an oddity That the first thing hopeful Generations of Immigrants of the United States saw WAS very Closely based on the Colossus of Rhodes, The Persian God Mithra and the Roman Goddess Libertas, in a country with an Enormous Such dept to the Judeo-Christian tradition. Not sinister, Perhaps, But Certainly incongruous.

So the whole argument is absurd. This is third grade Hebrew, btw. The Great Isaiah Scroll - which pushed back a thousand years knowledge of this passage (and the whole book) to perhaps 100 BCE clearly shows the reference is to "... this proverb against the king of Babylon and you shall say How (he) has ceased (to be) the oppressor, and how has the fury ceased."

I keep telling people they need a good knowledge of Hebrew before they start telling you what the Hebrew Scriptures say. For that matter, I respect Christianity, But It Should Be a bit humbling That We Have the New Testament only i n

Koine (eg folksy) Ancient Greek, and Jesus is likely to Have Spoken To His fellow Jews only in Aramaic. May I Have Known Greek - lots of people in the Eastern Roman Empire did, Jews included. But You Talk to your own people in Aramaic - except quoting Scripture Which Might Be quoted in Hebrew, If There Was an original Aramaic, it is totally lost. So from the original lost in a semi-dead language to old to modern Greek Inglés bad shoulder, at minimum, make one hesitant about quoting Jesus. Somewhere in the middle of the interview, They Asked me - Rather shockingly, I Thought - whether I "therefore" thought the Statue Should Be tHTMLXC clic k here.
